Mike is a Louisville native whom has spent the last 6 years as Private Aide to Steve Wilson and Laura Lee Brown, the philanthropic couple behind 21c Museum Hotels. Through these years Mike has helped to produce and collaborate on events with 21c Museum Hotels, Hermitage Farm and Original Makers Club among numerous private events in Louisville and the cities surrounding. He has cultivated relationships with the most forward thinking and innovative designers and vendors in the area and greatly enjoys the building of a successful event.
Melissa is originally from Central Florida and began her formal education with a summer semester at University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England. She then graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Hospitality Management. Melissa started planning events in college while interning at Masterpiece Weddings in Gainesville, Florida and became a Masterpiece Weddings Certified Wedding Planner. Melissa also completed a Sales & Marketing internship at Excelsa Hotels (now a part of Adriatic Luxury Hotels) in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Returning to Florida, Melissa then worked as Events Manager at The Grand Oaks Resort where she met Mike. Melissa then moved (originally temporarily) to Louisville to plan the Hermitage Classic at Hermitage Farm in 2011. After the Classic, Melissa decided to make Louisville her permanent home and accepted the Events Manager job at the Kentucky Derby Museum.
Mike and Melissa were engaged in 2013 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Deciding to spend their lives together, they also thought to combine their event management expertise under Brady & Company.
